Gachagua requests Kang’ata not to Write a Letter to President Ruto

On Sunday 30th October 2022 left his audience in tears after he reguested Murang’a governor Irungu Kang’ata not to send an open letter to President William Ruto like he did to former president Uhuru Kenyatta.

He said this while attending a thanksgiving church service in Karigi-ini, Kenol in Murang’a County. Do Gachagua Requested Governor Kang’ata to approach the president personally whenever he has a burning issue.

“..And Governor, I hope you will not write President Ruto a letter. In-case of any issues kindly present them personally since the statehouse doors are wide open for everyone.” Gachagua said this leaving the congregation in stitches.

Deputy president Gachagua was trying to refer to a controversial letter that Hon Irungu Kang’ata wrote to President uhuru Kenyatta back in 2021. In the letter, Mr Kang’ata pointed out a very key issue about the BBI — Building bridges initiative.

The letter wrote by the Current Governor cleared the waves indicating that the initiative was not popular in Mt. Kenya.

The letter from Kang’ata led him into problems hence disconnecting him with President Kenyatta.
