Martha Karambu Koome is the first woman to serve as the Chief Justice in Kenya. She was born on 3rd June 1960 currently aged 62 years. She comes from Meru county. Her husband is known as Koome Kiragu. The two are blessed with 3 lovely children. She was appointed into office by President Uhuru Mwigai Kenyatta.
