Chief justice David Maraga Calls for respect of his office


Today The chief Justice of the Republic of Kenya has come out boldly while addressing the media at the quarters. H as forth asking the government and the whole nation to accord his office and the Judicial services the respect it deserves. He has however cautioned Hon Nduale to stop talking and addressing judicial challenges from the political angle. The government has tented to slash the Judicial budget by 3 billion Ksh which the CJ says it will affect their Services even to an extent of lacking Car fuel and WiFi payments.

Mr Maraga has also asked the government to give it recognition during the public Celebrations as it does to all other offices correcting the MC of mashujaa Day held at Mombasa that he acknowledged all the government officials but not doing the same to the Chief Justice Of the republic which is not right.

He has however asked the government to allow the judiciary to enjoy th privileges as the others do like owning a maceedes Benze and VIP transport for high ranking government visitors vehicle for the cj,,,, Traveling out of country and also having good and appealing premises.
