CBC – Government allocates CBC Sh 3.4 Billion for teacher training (Grade 1 – 5)
The Teacher’s Employer TSC Chair Nancy macharia has given a directive on the next CBC training. She has opened up the good news to the teachers as this times training will be more different from the previous ones.
All the resources are set to be available online for download since TSC has partnered with The Kenya National Examination Council KNEC and other institutions to avail these materials. The materials will be appropriate for the due course as confirmed by TSC.
She also pointed out that 1,166 Tutors in the Teachers Training Colleges have already been trained. This followed a question on how are they managing to equip the Teachers in Colleges with relevant skills as much as CBC Is concerned.
She added to confirm to the media that the government is really in support of the program. The Training has been allocated 3.4 Billion Kenya Shillings to make sure this comes to a success.
The news come after the ministry too pointed out a list of schools that will be hosting The Junior Secondary School CBC children. (JSS).
Next year the Government will be rolling out the grade six level childran who will graduate to JSS Grade 6. All teachers be it in Private or Public school are set to be equipped with the skills.
