Aim of “Azimio La Umoja in Kasarani” by ODM leader Raila Odinga
Azimio la Umoja is a Kiswahili phrase meaning the motive of Unity. Azimio la Umoja is a slogan used by the ODM Party leader Raila Odinga. Raila Odinga is the longest and oldest competing politician with the aim to lead the country.
Raila Odinga is to be crowded by his party on 10th of December 2021 in Kasarani Stadium as the presidential flag bearer. This happens just after the Wiper Democratic Movement Mr Kalonzo Musyoka was announced the flag bearer in the same venue.
Raila Odinga is set to use this opportunity to gather all his supporters across the whole country and deliver his manifesto once elected as the 5th President of the Republic of Kenya.
It should be remembered that tomorrow will be a determination of how politics will run and unfold in the country. Previously we saw the Mountain area representatives converging for through one voice. This is to support the ODM leader to the state house come 2022 General Elections. They aired their stand through Citizen Tv a national Television.
But all may not sound too good in the ODM Party. Before or rather in the previous general elections Raila has been supported by many other politicians to whom he made some promises. One of the good example is Kalonzo Musyoka. He was promised to be supported by Raila but they happened to bow to a defeat by Jubilee.
This promise is a debt and he is supposed to pay. Tomorrow will determine the moves and political twists that will be witnessed in the country.
We also remember the political betrayal by the Jubilee party. Jubilee is the ruling party lead by President Uhuru Kenyatta and deputised by Hon William Samoei Ruto. Ruto was promised by Kenyatta to have his 10 years of ruling the country after His second term. The president was noticed to have twisted the promise after paving way for Raila Odinga with Handshake. The two happen to have separated their minds from each other hence no single day Uhuru is spotted backing up Ruto’s presidential bid. He is all time seen alongside the right Honourable Raila Amolo odinga.
Leaving alone the Jubilee woes, in ODM we are also set to witness how Jimmy Wanjigi a staunch supporter af ODM Party will make the next move. This is after he showed his interest to vie presidential under the ODM ticket. He has of late announced not to be part of Azimio la Umoja in Kasarani come Friday of 10th December. This is just but one two we also came across the Kakamega Governor Hon Wycliffe Oparanya expressing the same issue. He claims to be ignored by Raila on fair Nomination which has not happened yet.

During the Azimio la Umoja event in Kasarani, ODM is expected to announce Raila Amolo aa the presidential flag bearer. He is also expected to give his speech on what is hindering Kenya to achieve the Canan promise.
The Historical Stadium is expected to hold every Kenyan who may wish to subscribe to the ODM Party. An inspection of the venue was done previously by Odinga himself among other leaders like Mr Babu Owino and Simba Arati.
