Aden Duale: Lyon FC from Township Ward Crowned Champions after beating Juhudi FC
Yesterday evening Duale witnessed the end of the four-month ‘Duale cup’ tournament final organized by Garissa County Football Association at Boystown Primary grounds.
They fully sponsored the tournament that brought together 20 clubs from all the four wards in his constituency.
Lyon FC from Township Ward (Bulla Ngamia) was crowned champions after beating Juhudi FC from Galbet Ward (Bulla ADC) on penalties (8-7) after the match ended in a nil-nil draw during normal time.
Mp Aden Duale awarded certificates to all the participating clubs and trophies, cash price, uniforms, balls and medals to the winners and runner up.
Also he awarded trophies to the best player Mohamed Bilal (Baba) and top scorer Abdirahman Mohamud (Martin) from Juhudi FC, best goalkeeper Mohamed Hassan (deqow) from Lyon FC and AC Moral FC as the most disciplined team, also presented the Appointment of Hassan Rashid as Garissa United Fc Head coach.
