The cause of Aberdares Fire remains unknown. According to the report shared by Climate experts, this kind of outbreak is triggered by the long droughts experienced in the country.

NEWS UPDATE: Wildfires have destroyed over 40,000 acres of Aberdares forest in the last week. Over 200 personnel have been deployed to contain the rapidly spreading fire, according to KWS Assistant Director of Mountain Conservation Bakari Mungumi.
