4 KU Students Arrested, Accused of Violent Robbery in Juja, Ruai, Kayole and Surrounding Areas

4 University student have been arrested and put behind bars by the Kenya Security Personnel.

Detectives have sunken themselves into the matter carrying an investigations and interrogations to the 4. They are believed to be part of the gang that has been violently robbing residents in Juja, Ruai, Kayole and areas surrounding in Nairobi.

According to the DCI report, this comes after a joint operation was done by detectives from Ruai, Makadara, Embakasi and Kayole last night.

In the event a 19 year old student from Kenyatta University was arrested and he opened up about other 3 who were fellow freshers in the same university living in Juja container area.

The Kenya DCI although did not share photos but went ahead and shared the names including their age. These were Richard Lankisa 18 years old, Brian Kituku 19 years and Emmanuel Nyangwencha who is 18 years old. All the culprits are Degree students in Development studies at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.

After a search was curried out in their single room, the police recovered a G-lock pistol, 8 used special cartridges, one empty pistol magazine, one white plastic face mask, 2 laptops believed to have been stolen amongst other items.

The scene was processed by the detectives based in Thika and the 4 were escorted to Juja police station awaiting to be arraigned in court.
