29 More bodies Exhumed from Shakahola 800 Acre Forest

Shakahola Massacre: Friday, 12th May 2023, 29 more bodies exhumed in Shakahola as death toll rises to 179.

Detectives carrying out Shakahola Massacre rescue and exhumation operation on Friday have exhumed 29 more bodies from mass graves. The operation that is gong on in the 800 acre forest comes after followers of a controversial rogue pastor Paul Mackenzie are believed to be buried.

The police and regional commissioner Rhoda Onyancha today said so far the operation has confirmed 179 deaths.during her briefing, she added that a total 0f 609 people have been reported missing.

As the news continue unfolding, she assured Kenyans to remain calm as the rescue is still going on.
