11K Ex-Kazi Mtaani Youths to be Employed in Nairobi County

11000 Ex-Kazi Mtaani workers to be employed in Nairobi County. Reading part of his speech, President William Ruto said the Kazi Mtaani youths will secure jobs in the new Greening Nairobi City initiative.

The joint project between the Nairobi County and the National government is targeted to plant 1.5 Million trees in Nairobi City Open and public spaces.

Every worker is to pocket Ksh 2500 on weekly basis. The programme will begin in January 2023.

President William Ruto urged other County heads to emulate Governor Sakaja and also plant trees to help combat climate change effects.
