FKF President Mr Nick Mwendwa has been arrested and taken to the DCI offices in Kiambu over alleged funds misappropriation. This happens after the minister Amina Mohammed dissolved the board that managed Kenyan Football.
From the report submitted to the Parliament Mwendwa is to face the court floor on Monday 15th November 2021.

Following the ongoing scandal their has risen the misunderstanding between the government and FKF as FKF differs with the decision to suspend all Kenyan Leagues for two weeks.
FKF stands firm insisting that games will go on as planned hence producing the weekend fixture. They have however requested the ministry for an urgent meeting to solve the issues that have risen.
